Kuruvi (lit. Sparrow; col: Courier)[a] is a 2008 Tamil action comedy film written and directed by Dharani. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin,the movie stars Vijay, Trisha and Suman in the lead roles. Vivek, Ashish Vidyarthi, Manivannan and Malavika played other roles in the movie. The film, loosely based on the 1995 movie French Kiss, released on 3 May 2008 and criticized for its stunts made by the stunt choreographers. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Dopidi, Hindi as Jo Jeeta Wohi Baazigar[3] and Malayalam with the same title.[4] Most of the action scenes in the climax are borrowed from the 2005 Telugu blockbuster Chhatrapati
